“A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of Russia (causing death by negligence to two or more persons), ”the regional headquarters of the IC of Russia said in a statement.
As a result of the fire on the night of June 6, four children aged one to six years, as well as their father, were killed.
“The mother of the children woke up from smoke, ran outside for help, but time was lost and no one was saved. A woman with burns was hospitalized, ”the department added.
According to the investigation, the family was on preventive care.
According to the preliminary version, the cause of the fire was a short circuit in the wiring, while the fire started from the veranda of a residential building.
Earlier it was reported that four children and a man died in a fire in a house in the Irkutsk region.
