The alarm came just before 6pm and both police and rescue services drove to the scene.
It will leak ammonia into a smaller space inside the ice rink and the emergency services are working to locate and fix the leak.
- All entrances have been blocked off to Klostergården's sports area. Ammonia is not a topic you should breathe in, says police spokesman Rickard Lundqvist.
There is currently no information on injured persons. The entire area is stated to be vacant.
