The rescue service is in place with 13 people from Falun and Borlänge and five vehicles. An ambulance was also alerted to the scene, but it is unclear if any person was injured.
It should be a fire in the basement of the property.
- We are still working full time on the site with fire extinguishing and smoke ventilation. I have not been told that the fire is extinguished, says Magnus Jonsson, internal commander of the rescue service Dala Mitt at 11 o'clock.
The residents have not been evacuated from the property.
- Right now there is no danger to the residents. We do not currently believe that there is a risk of spreading, but it is so with fires that you cannot say it safely before you know for sure that the fire is extinguished, says Jonsson.
