Clashes at the Circus Maximus with the launch of objects and paper bombs by demonstrators against the police at the Forza Nuova demonstration. Everything would have started from a skirmish with the cameras present, degenerated into a fight, or from an internal dispute between the demonstrators.

Vases, bottles and firecrackers were thrown at law enforcement and journalists during the tense minutes that took place in via dei Cerchi at the start of the event organized, as well as by Forza Nuova, by other far-right groups. Police in riot gear and hydrants to restore normalcy, the demonstrators then gathered under the stage set up at the Circus Maximus.

With the cry "Duce, Duce"
They arrived at the circus Maximus with the cry of 'Duce, Duce'. They call themselves 'Boys of Italy' and have come to large groups with tricolor flags and smoke signals. They are the right-wing and ultra-extremists of various curves who took to the streets to protest the measures adopted by the government at this stage of the Covid emergency. Many white T-shirts, very few masks, shaved heads, tattoos, some tense bravvio and a zero female presence. Among those present, also the leader of Forza Nuova Giuliano Castellino and members of the north curve of Lazio with the shirts depicting Diabolik, as the leader of the diehards, Fabrizio Piscicelli, who was killed in an ambush last year was nicknamed.

All huddled without a mask
The mask, who wore it, holds it under the chin. Crowded all, as if the coronavirus were a faded memory: so at the demonstration at the Circus Maximus where there are also those who, ironically, say they are not willing to speak to the wearer. Many have the black mask "made to arrive directly from Predappio" with the writing "Executioner who gives up", even the one strictly on the arm.

Many protesters from the north: "We are apolitical".
They came by marching the tricolor from via dei Cerchi to via della Greca to reinforcements at the Circus Maximus. Many came from Brescia and Verona. The organizers of Forza Nuova announce the arrival of four other buses, but the people who arrived in Rome to demonstrate little interest. "We are apolitical - says a protester who arrived from Brescia - we all know each other, we are friends. Garda is razed to the ground economically. We are artisans, merchants, food representatives who serve restaurants, layoffs. The event is open to all as long as no political symbols. The white T-shirt represents this. "

"We hope to get something, later - explains - a delegation will go to the Quirinale: what has been done, if it has been done, obviously has not arrived. My partner works in a rest home in the province of Mantua and is still waiting for do the swab. "
