According to diplomats, on June 5, two employees of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Prague were declared persona non grata.

“The Czech side acted dishonorably and unworthily, taking this unfriendly step,” the report said.

The ministry noted that the Czech authorities without any reason "caused serious damage to Russian-Czech relations."

“Prague’s actions will not only receive an adequate response, but will also be taken into account when forming the Russian line with regard to the Czech Republic. It will be necessary to answer for such provocations, ”the Foreign Ministry added.

Earlier, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrei Babish said that two employees of the Russian embassy were declared persons non grata.

The Russian embassy confirmed receipt of the corresponding notice from the Czech side.
