More than half of Spain will go to Phase 3 of the de-escalation on Monday, June 8. These are the news compared to the previous phases:

Where can I move?

This new phase brings greater flexibility in general mobility. However, in principle the movement between provinces is not foreseen until all of Spain completes phase 3 and the new normality begins.

Bars and restaurants

Malls

The ban on the use of common areas and recreational areas of shopping centers is lifted. Of course, the capacity will be limited to 50% and the safety distance will be kept at two meters. Likewise, the capacity of the premises and commercial establishments located in them is also set at 50%.

Flea markets with more stalls

Open-air markets may increase their activity to 50% of the stalls or they may increase the surface area that allows a similar distance between stalls. This will be done at the discretion of the municipalities that must guarantee the safety distance of two meters between people.

Social contact, weddings and funerals

Social contact is allowed for non-vulnerable people or those with previous pathologies. The wedding may be held with a maximum of 150 attendees and 75 free indoor air. Of course, you can never exceed 75% of the capacity of the facilities.

The wake can be held with a maximum of 50 people in Phase 3 of de-climbing if they are outdoors and 25 if they are held in closed spaces, while for burial or farewell for cremation it is restricted to 50 people.

Likewise, attendance at places of worship will be allowed as long as it does not exceed 75% of its capacity, although the maximum capacity must be published in a visible place and the general safety and hygiene measures established by the health authorities must be complied with. .

Labor sphere

Regarding the workplace, during Phase 3 protocols for face-to-face reincorporation will be established for companies (PPE and other protection measures may be used), establishing staggered hours and enhancing conciliation measures. However, he continues to bet on teleworking, but on the return to work, he dismisses the signing by fingerprint, prescribes the security distance of two meters at workstations and says to avoid using the elevator.

Will I still have to wear a mask?

The use of the mask will continue to be mandatory in this new stage of de-escalation as it has been used until now.

Public transport

100% urban and interurban public transport services are expected to operate.

Hotels and tourist accommodation

In Phase 2 , the common areas were already opened with a limitation of a third of the capacity, except for the hotel areas of the hotel itself, which will follow the rules for restaurants. In this new phase the capacity increases to 50%.

Outdoor shows

Outdoor shows may be held in front of a maximum of 800 spectators, double the number allowed in Phase 2 . As a condition, attendees must remain seated and respecting the social distance of two meters.

Recreational activities

The reopening of performing arts and musical rooms is planned with a capacity limit of 1/3. Likewise, those cultural acts and shows of less than 80 people in closed places may also open with 30% of their capacity.

The bulls may return. The squares, venues and bullfighting facilities can open with a capacity limitation that guarantees one person for every nine square meters.

As for cultural shows, theme parks and outdoor leisure, they can open with less than 800 people (as long as they are seated and keeping the necessary distance).

Active and nature tourism and bathing on the beach are allowed, in safety and distance conditions.

Science and innovation

Seminars, conferences and scientific or innovation fairs may be held, as long as the social distance of more than two meters is respected and there are less than 80 people, guaranteeing compliance with security protocols.

Marine transport

The regulatory limitation of not boarding passengers on ferries is eliminated , depending on the evolution of sanitary parameters. Recreational nautical activities are also authorized.

Sport

Indoor sports shows and activities are authorized (only for practicing sports in which there is no contact or the risk of contagion is moderate, for example a skating rink). The public will be limited to one person for every 20 m2.
