It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the corresponding written statement of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, provided in response to a request from the agency.
“At present, the issue of the conditions for the further stay of Russian military facilities on the territory of the Republic of Belarus is undergoing a procedure of internal state coordination. The final decision will be made by the government, ”the statement said.
The ministry noted that on the essence of the decision, the Russian side will be informed in a working manner.
In February, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus arranged a comprehensive check of the combat readiness of the Air Force units and air defense forces.
