Facebook Labeled by media posts deemed to be under government control June 5, 13:57

US Facebook, which runs the world's largest exchange site, has announced that it will begin labeling labels that post media that it determines are under government control.

It seems that before the US presidential election this November, there will be thorough measures to prevent foreign interference.

Facebook announced in a statement yesterday that it would begin labeling labels for media posts and advertisements it deemed to be under government control.

It's meant to inform users that the content may have been affected by the government, and in the United States it will begin to label posts from next week.

Whether or not to display the label is judged from the income source of the media, and objections are accepted.

According to the American media, the target to display the label includes Chinese state-owned Xinhua News Agency and Russian and Iranian media.

Also, in the US, advertisements by such media will be stopped from the summer, and it seems that there will be thorough measures to prevent interference from foreign countries ahead of the US presidential election in November.

Facebook was criticized in the last US presidential election for alleging that Russia interfered with the election through social media, and the issue is how to prevent recurrence.
