In 2020, the outbreak of the New Coronary Pneumonia epidemic. In order to prevent the spread of the epidemic, Cambodia will suspend classes nationwide on March 16.

As a class teacher who just took two weeks of class, I was disrupted by the epidemic.

The rehearsal of the three songs "Wish You Peace", "Tomorrow Will Be Better", and "Making the World Full of Love" originally prepared for the graduation show came to an abrupt end.

I remember the day when the class was announced, the children were anxious, worried, and panicked because of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic. The children whispered and whispered about the topic of New Coronary Pneumonia.

Seeing all this, I admonished myself that I should not confuse myself in front of the children, and I should not make the children feel terrified.

So I collected some promotional videos on the fight against New Coronary Pneumonia on the Internet to encourage children to do effective prevention, reduce the chance of being infected, arrange homework, let the children complete unstudy texts, and let them suspend classes without stopping!

As an expatriate teacher, I said to myself that no matter what the epidemic situation is, I must stick to my post and practice the original intention of the expatriate work with practical actions.

During the anti-epidemic period after the suspension of classes, our expatriate teachers all segregated themselves in the dormitory and woke up every morning. The first thing was to check the epidemic data, pay attention to Wuhan, follow China, and learn about the global epidemic information. Countless times were stunned by the continuous spread of the global epidemic, and countless times were moved by the heroes fighting on the front line of the epidemic!

Being in a foreign country and experiencing the epidemic, we have experienced the various life situations, which made me feel more real that tomorrow and accidents, you never know which one comes first!

At this time, it is difficult for me to control my anxiety and anxiety, and worry about when the children’s graduation songs will have time to learn, and whether the graduation show can be held as scheduled.

What is disturbing is our necessities of life, how can we prepare well! Whether the local epidemic situation can be controlled and the resumption of classes is expected to be realized!

But the uneasiness was quickly broken, and our teachers in Cambodia received the care and warmth from the motherland.

We tell the school whether we can use online teaching to finish the class and teach the song. As a result of the school leaders’ discussion, due to the immature conditions of online teaching at the school, it was temporarily impossible to organize online teaching activities.

In view of this situation, we prepared lessons in the office and dormitory, wrote lesson plans, and produced test papers.

Outside of work, I put more energy into learning Cambodian language. The most troublesome problem in Chinese teaching is language communication. The Chinese class explains simple words and often sees the students' expressions at a loss.

I still remember when I was explaining the words in the third grade of elementary school, I just came up with a freshly learned Cambodian language, and the class was suddenly excited. The Chinese-Cambodian language is mixed, and the sounds are one after another, so they are lively. Unexpectedly, a simple Cambodian language received unexpected results, which inspired my enthusiasm for learning Cambodian.

Mastering the Cambodian language is very practical for the teaching of middle and low grades. Not only speeds up the students' mastering of Chinese, but also quickly closes the distance with the children.

In the days of anti-epidemic in Cambodia, there have been struggles, worries, uneasiness, and attempts. There is gain, there is growth! But I firmly believe that no matter how difficult it is at the beginning of 2020, I believe that the spring will definitely shine on the earth!

One day, the disaster will finally pass and joy will come. I wish to wake up with spring blossoms; wish to wake up without suffering. China and Cambodia have joined together, side by side, to overcome difficulties together! Everything is in the same spring, everything is expected, I believe that the war epidemic will win!
