A majority of French people want the government to change policy and be reshuffled but also that Edouard Philippe remains Prime Minister, according to an Odoxa poll published Thursday.

64% of those questioned want a reshuffle and 65% that Edouard Philippe remains in Matignon, only the voters of the National Rally declaring for the most part his departure, indicates the opinion study carried out for Aviva Assurances, the magazine Challenges and the chain BFM Business.

None of the personalities mentioned to be appointed to Matignon would make a "good Prime Minister" for a majority of French people. The best placed is Bruno Le Maire, the Minister of the Economy, with 31% of positive judgments, on a par with Xavier Bertrand, the president of the Hauts-de-France region.

73% of those polled want Emmanuel Macron to change his policy, but also 69% are convinced that he will not do so and 74% that he will not change his personality. 61% nevertheless think that there will be a revaluation of the salaries of the carers, as the president undertook.

Despite the start of deconfinement, 76% of French people are skeptical about the country's economic situation, a figure down one point compared to the previous month.

Survey carried out on a sample of 1,005 French people aged 18 and over interviewed by internet on May 28 and 29, according to the quota method. Margin of error from 1.4 to 3.1 points.
