The Syrian News Agency "SANA" reported that the Syrian air defenses were responding to an Israeli aggression in the atmosphere of the city of Masyaf in Hama countryside, in the center of the country, targeting the defense factories there.


State television stated that the votes were caused by "an Israeli raid targeting defense laboratories in al-Zawi, in Masyaf countryside."


For its part, the Russian agency "Sputnik" quoted a high-level security source as saying that the aggression was carried out by rockets fired by Israeli aircraft from Lebanese airspace.


"The air defenses managed to shoot down most of the enemy missiles in the vicinity of the city of Masyaf," the source added.


He added, "The aggression targeted the Center for Scientific Research in the Masyaf region, and there is no accurate information on the extent of the damages until the moment, and work is underway to evaluate them."
