Since March 12, Norrköping's symphony orchestra has completely changed its operations. Now you come out digitally with a concert almost once a week.

- We work on it fully and continue with it. In August we had big outdoor concerts planned, such as the August festival and the Stadsfesten in Linköping. But they are both set, so we will continue to work digitally even in August, says Agneta Lindmark Thomas, communicator.

How it will be before the season starts this fall is still unclear.

- We do not know what the restrictions will look like. If we can bring in a number of hundreds we can adapt to it. Otherwise we will continue with our digital scene, says Agneta Lindmark Thomas.

Planning to play this fall

Nor will the Östgötateatern have any public activities this summer. But they are planning a digital summer venture where the audience can access their online offerings. But Östgötateatern plans to play in the fall, even if there are only 50 people in the salon.

- We work with different scenarios with linked measures based on whether the 50 limit remains or if it is raised. The purpose of all the scenarios is that it should be safe and secure for both audiences and staff to be in the theater. This can, for example, be about ensuring certain distances among the chairs in the salon and removing breaks to avoid any congestion in the theater café, says Jeanette Söderwall at Östgötateatern.

This spring, SVT Nyheter Öst was present when the symphony orchestra recorded its digital concerts. See more in the clip below:
