“To go to the stage of clinical trials, the framework of one country is not enough. Russia is also developing vaccines, and we agreed to collaborate on cross-clinical trials, ”he said.

The minister added that Russian and Turkish scientists will discuss further steps for cooperation in a video conference format on June 4.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a telephone conversation discussed the importance of collaboration between relevant agencies on the development of vaccines from COVID-19.
