According to the agency, there were reports in social networks that equipment for installing 5G towers arrived in Chechnya.

“These are rumors, lies and provocation. There are no towers in Chechnya, no one is going to install them, and there is no such possibility. If they did, I would love to support it, this is a new technology that improves the quality and speed of the Internet, ”Kadyrov said live on Instagram.

As the head of Chechnya noted, another 4G in the region "is not fully covered and does not work normally."

He added that in neighboring republics, due to such rumors and damage to the tower, communication failures began.

“Now they complain that there is no connection, I would be the first to agree to 5G if we did it,” he said.

Kadyrov explained that the equipment seen in some localities belongs to Grozneftegaz and is engaged in geological exploration and well drilling.

He urged people not to believe the rumors of “chipization,” emphasizing that he would “be the first to oppose this chipization.”

Earlier, biologist, scientific journalist Alexander Panchin commented on FAN reports on the spread of coronavirus through 5G towers, noting that only education can help people not to believe in rumors.
