He comes out of it with great fright. Tuesday evening, a teenager fell into a well in the town of Trébrivan (Côtes d'Armor), not far from Carhaix, in central Brittany. Aged 18, the young man would have dropped from six to seven meters, according to the firefighters. Alerted by the victim's friends around 9:45 p.m., the emergency services had to descend into the well to get the boy up.

One of the firefighters used his rescue pack to descend into the well, before putting a harness on the young victim. "He was exhausted," say the Côtes d'Armor firefighters. The young man was transported to Carhaix hospital in hypothermia due to the cold water. However, his state of health did not cause concern on the part of the emergency services.

According to Le Télégramme , the young man fell during a march. He was walking across the field with friends when he fell into a communal well. The town hall reportedly indicated that it would secure the premises.
