It is Sörmland's tourism development, STUA, which is responsible for the marketing efforts. The idea is to try to attract domestic tourists and show what Sörmland has to offer to everyone who will spend their holiday at home.

- Now we are in a position where we are entering a summer period and we need to gather together with STUA and all the municipalities in the county to show what is on offer in Sörmland, he says.

He says that the support efforts will cost the region SEK 1.5 million.

- We know that many people from the outside have cottages and summer places in Sörmland, so it is extra important that we try to gather energy and show home vacations what quality is in the county, says Hagström.

But how do you think about the risk of infection?

- We are following the restrictions of the Public Health Authority and are clearly thinking about it. At the same time, we know that many people are already moving in Sörmland today and there will certainly come new news about travel, says Hagström.
