VKKS allowed SC to institute criminal proceedings against six judges

This is stated in a press release following the results of the VKKS meeting held in Moscow from May 25 to 29.

The idea of ​​initiating criminal cases was satisfied in relation to the justice of the peace of the judicial unit No. 52 of the Zhukovsky District of the Moscow Region Stanislav Krupin, the judge of the Novosibirsk Regional Court Rimma Shatovkina, as well as the judge of the retired court section No. 25 of the Nagatinsky District of Moscow Svetlana Samgina, the judge of the Orenburg Regional Court Gennady Petrukhov, retired judge of the Liskinsky court of the Voronezh region Evgeny Kapustin and retired judge of the Gagarinsky district court of the Smolensk region Alexander Sychev.

In mid-May, the head of the SC, Alexander Bastrykin, asked VKKS permission to initiate proceedings against seven judges.

In relation to them, they intend to initiate cases of fraud, participation in an accident, robbery and abuse of office.

According to Russian law, the permission of the qualification board is necessary to attract judges as defendants even after they leave their post.
