Russia transferred humanitarian aid to Afghanistan to combat the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19. This was reported by TASS with reference to the Special Representative of the President of Russia for Afghanistan, Director of the Second Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Zamir Kabulov.
“The ambassador (Russia to Afghanistan Dmitry Zhirnov) handed over,” said Kabulov.
He specified that 50 test kits were handed over to Afghanistan for conducting 5 thousand tests for coronavirus.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the Russian side was ready to assist other countries in the fight against coronavirus, regardless of the political situation.
