He went from stealing from cars parked in garages to stealing inside commercial establishments. Thus, he considers that Mossos d'Esquadra changed the way of acting a 20-year-old man and Spanish national detained on May 27 as the alleged author of four robberies with force in commercial establishments and three attempts on vehicles parked in private garages. He is also accused of breaking a court order that prohibited his entry into Nou Barris car parks.
The agents indicate that he specialized in the theft of parked cars, since he has about twenty arrests for similar events and that is why there was a court order that prevented him from accessing. However, during the confinement he changed his objectives and dedicated himself to entering shops. The Mossos indicate that he allegedly broke the windows to gain access and took the collection and other valuables.
They attribute robberies to him in two pharmacies, a bar, where the collection was taken and an electric scooter, and a sports center that houses a foundation that performs social tasks. The agents point out that this entity has had a lot of commercial activity during the confinement since it bought food and other items to distribute it among vulnerable people.
After his arrest, the court authorized the search of his home and ordered his entry into prison. The Mossos do not rule out that it is related to more thefts that are being investigated.
