The American Netflix documentary "Tiger king" revolves around the eccentric zoo owner Joe Exotic and his longstanding feud with animal rights activist Carol Baskin.

In 2011, Exotic was sentenced to pay a million dollars after Carol Baskin sued him for trademark infringement - and in connection with the verdict left the zoo on his mother.

Sentenced to 24 years in prison

In the latest turnaround in the least-talked-about story, a US court has now decided to allow the zoo to go to Baskin, when it is believed that Joe Exotic wrote over the park on his mother only to avoid paying the million-dollar fine, the Hollywood Reporter reports.

The zoo's current owner Jeff Lowe now has 120 days to evacuate the park and move the animals.

Joe Exotic was sentenced in 2019 to his refusal to serve 24 years in prison for hiring an assassin to murder Carol Baskin.
