According to RIA Novosti with reference to the headquarters, more than 80% of newly diagnosed cases in Moscow are under the age of 65.

“42.3% of new cases are people aged 18 to 45 years, 33.1% - from 46 to 65 years old, 11% - from 66 to 79 years old, another 6.4% - over 80 years old. Also 7.2% of the sick are children, ”the statement said.

It was previously reported that in Russia, 8863 cases of coronavirus were recorded per day.

On June 1, Anna Popova, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, said that Russia had gone through an acute phase of raising the situation with coronavirus. 

State Duma deputy, psychiatrist Boris Mendelevich, in an interview with the FAN, commented on the need for extensive testing of the country's population for coronavirus infection.
