Busch wants to see clearer political control during the pandemic

Ebba Busch (KD) says in SVT's Morning Study that she had wanted clearer national control of health care and that a ban on visiting the elderly residents was announced to fight the ongoing pandemic.

- I think you have acted like there is a contradiction between leaning on experts and expert authorities and daring to lead the country in crisis.

She also says that she thinks the government places too much responsibility on the regions and municipalities.

"It is in a fear of being held responsible for the situation themselves," she says.

The crisis democrats participate in and govern in several regions and Ebba Busch admits that KD has some of the responsibility for how the situation looks.

- We have made fairly tough conclusions for our own part where we are in control and are responsible, she says and continues:

- But we also had a situation in March where if you tried to deviate from the national guidelines, you got pretty harsh criticism. Stockholm, which chose to impose a visitor ban in Stockholm twelve days before the national visitor ban, received a lot of criticism for this.
