When the board decided to increase the number of school days from 180 to 182, the municipality's principals wrote a joint protest letter, which stated, among other things, that more school days reduce the teachers' opportunities for planning and evaluation.

- I agree that there is a risk that teachers will lose that time. Therefore, I am ready to have a dialogue about this and look again. The children may be able to receive more education without restricting the teachers' planning time, says Mona Kanaan (S), chair of the elementary school board.
