China News Agency, Beijing, June 1 (Islamabad): In response to India ’s decision to expel two Pakistani diplomats, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Charg d’ affaires of the Indian High Commissioner ’s Office in Pakistan on June 1 and strongly condemned the Indian actions.

  On May 31, the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement announcing that two officials of the Pakistan High Commission in India were "unwelcome people" and asked them to leave the country within 24 hours. The statement stated that the two Pakistani diplomats were arrested by Indian law enforcement “for espionage”. The Indian side has issued a note to the Chargé d’ affaires of the Pakistan High Commission for India, strongly protesting the “actions that endanger the national security of India” by Pakistani officials, and asked the Pakistani side to ensure that its diplomatic mission personnel do not endanger India or its diplomat status Inconsistent activities.
