“I think that at the peak we had about 20 thousand people who were in the hospital,” RIA Novosti quoted Rakov as saying.

She noted that due to the reprofiling of the hospital bed, the situation with a shortage of beds did not arise.

“Not a single Moscow doctor had to make a choice who should be given a chance to live and who should be left without proper medical care,” the deputy mayor added.

Previously, Rakova said that the city managed to avoid the development of the situation with coronavirus infection according to the Italian scenario.
