The pavilion was established as a separate building with an area of 1500 square meters in the area near Rashid Hospital, and it includes 25 rooms equipped to the highest levels, and they are distributed between health isolation rooms, treatment rooms, intensive care, clinics, examination and examination rooms.
When inspecting the new wing, Dubai Health Authority Director General Humaid Mohammed Al Qatami said that taking proactive steps, whether in examining operations, or equipping medical facilities for health isolation and treatment, strengthened Dubai Health’s efforts to combat Covid 19, and contributed to early detection of the virus And then the rapid handling of the affected cases, which accelerates the recovery of the injured patients.
He stressed that the approved prevention strategy includes all scenarios and various possibilities and expectations, and this helps the Dubai Health Authority a lot in the process of forecasting and taking appropriate decisions, which may relate to establishing field hospitals, or allocating additional facilities for health isolation, or other matters.
