WHO: Outbreak of new Ebola outbreak in DRC

  On June 1, local time, WHO Director General Tan Desai said that the Congolese government announced today that a new round of Ebola outbreak has occurred in the country, located in Mbandaka, Equateur Province in northwestern Congo Near the city, there are currently 6 infected persons, 4 of whom have died. WHO will continue to support the Democratic Republic of Congo in combating the Ebola outbreak, and at the same time respond to the new outbreak of pneumonia and the world's largest measles outbreak. In May 2018, the town of Bikoro in Equateur Province had the 9th Ebola outbreak in the country. The 10th Ebola outbreak in the eastern part of the country in August 2018 has not ended yet.
