President Moon Jae-in made a 15-minute phone call with US President Trump last night (1st). President Trump invited Mr. Trump to come to the G7 summit as the G7 chairman of the world's seven major countries this year.

normal call between President Moon Jae-in and US President Donald Trump was held at 9:30 last night at 15:30 at the request of President Trump.

First, President Moon responded to President Trump's invitation to attend the G7, a summit of seven major countries, saying "I am willing to attend."

Earlier, President Trump said he wanted to postpone the G7 summit in September and invite Korea, Australia, Russia, and India.

President Moon emphasized, "Thank you for inviting President Trump."

Then, spokesman Kang Min-suk said, when the face-to-face summit was held, it would be a sign that the world would return to normal conditions and the economy.

The two leaders also discussed ways to expand to the G11 or G12 system by adding Korea, Australia, India, Russia, and Brazil to the G7.

"The G7 system is limited in responding to global problems," said President Moon, and sympathized with President Trump's expansion plan.

The ROK-US summit's currency is the 25th since the inauguration of President Moon and the third this year, and it has only been 44 days since the election.
