May 31, 2020A dispute, which broke out for futile reasons, would be the cause of the murder of a 45-year-old Polish truck driver, which took place last night in the Legino car park in Savona. According to what was reconstructed by the investigators of the Savona Mobile Squad, the man dined with two Belarusian truck drivers and another Pole who works for his own trucking company at the truck park last night. Among the four, who had drunk a lot, a dispute arose, which then resulted in a fight culminating in the deadly stabbing. The attacker used a kitchen knife with a 28cm blade. When the three saw his colleague bleed, they dragged him behind the truck to remove him from the sight of other truck drivers. The attackers wet his face with water and the truck driver managed to get on his vehicle where he tried to dab the wound with adhesive tape: perhaps the alcohol drunk did not allow him to understand the severity of the cut and after some time he removed the tape causing the fatal bleeding to resume. Other truck drivers who noticed the colleague slumped inside the truck's cockpit sounded the alarm. Volunteers from the public assistance intervened on the scene, the self-medication of 118 and the police who found the man unconscious.

Thanks to the testimonies the policemen reconstructed the facts and identified the three (one was injured in one eye and cheekbone) and recovered bottlenecks and shards of ceramic dishes that may have been used as weapons in the fight. The three were arrested for pre-intentional murder in competition.
