The Authority invited individuals who hold valid residency and wish to return to the UAE to register for the service "Resident Entry Permit" on its website (Smartservice.ica.gov.ae), whereby the authority dedicated this service to residents who are outside the country and who have valid residency and allows them to issue Permits to enter the UAE and facilitate their safe and secure return in emergency cases. Approval of applications depends on the current conditions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship announced, earlier, the possibility of returning residents of the Emirates who are currently abroad, and who hold valid residency, as of June 1.
The authority stated on its website that the documents and documents required to obtain the entry permit are a copy of the residence (compulsory) and a copy of the passport (compulsory).
