George Floyd, an African American man living in Minneapolis USA, died after a brutal police intervention.

One of the police officers, the man seen on video pushing George Floyd to the ground by pressing his knee to his neck, is charged with manslaughter and manslaughter to the death of another.

The other three police officers who participated in the arrest are being investigated for crimes. But Philonise Floyd, George Floyd's brother, tells the TV channel MSNBC that he wants to see all the cops convicted of murder.

- They should be sentenced to death. They didn't care what they did to my brother, he wasn't human to them - he was scum. He was nothing, and I can imagine how many they treated like this. I don't want them out on the streets killing someone else.

The conversation with Trump

The brother says he got to talk over the phone with the Democrats' top name to the presidential post, Joe Biden - and US President Donald Trump.

- It went so fast, he didn't give me the opportunity to talk. It was hard, I tried to talk to him but he interrupted me as if he didn't want to hear what I had to say. I told him that what I want is justice, that I can't understand that they committed a modern lynching in the middle of the bright day - I can't stand it, says Philonise Floyd.

"A life for a life"

The incident has caused unrest after protests in Minneapolis escalated during the week and spread to other cities, of which 25 have been banned. The National Guard has also been called in. People are driven by pain, says George Floyd's brother.

“We should be peaceful, but it's difficult right now,” he says.

- A life for a life, that's what I want to see. A crime is a crime - if I had committed a crime I would have been locked up the same day, everyone knows. It could have been something smaller than this.

According to the police's own statement, George Floyd resisted and died for medical reasons, reports the New York Times.
