Refunds "blocked" at first
The French are not the only ones to ask themselves the question: it concerns tour operators and other tourism professionals as well as vacationers. Initially, the government "blocked" the reimbursements of the sums paid to reserve stays before the epidemic and decided, to preserve the treasury of the companies, to convert them into assets valid for 18 months - period at the end of which a reimbursement will be possible. But with regard to post-start reservations, the executive has chosen not to interfere and prefers to let hotels, vacation clubs and transportation companies organize their own rules for reservations and possible refunds. .
