Bayern Munich continued to progress steadily towards the podium in the German league title (Bundesliga) for the eighth season in a row, and won a landslide victory over its guest Fortuna Dusseldorf, and overcame it 5-0 today, Saturday in the twenty-ninth stage of the competition.

Bayern opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a goal scored by Fortias Dusseldorf player Mattias Jorgensen by mistake in his team's goal, then Benjamin Pavard added Bayern's second goal in the 29th minute before star Robert Lewandowski scored the third goal for the Bavarian team in the 43rd minute.

In the second half, Lewandowski scored his second and fourth goals for Bayern in the 50th minute, then teammate Alfonso Davis added the fifth in the 52nd minute.

The Bavarian club raised its score to 67 points, widening the difference that separates it in the lead against its closest rival, Borussia Dortmund, to ten points, pending the results of the remaining matches of the stage that witnesses tomorrow Dortmund's meeting with Paderborn.
