While the campsites will reopen on June 2 in the green zones, some have gotten ahead of the deconfinement by going there this weekend, like Claudia, who owns a mobile home. With her three children, she plans to take advantage of this living environment before the arrival of tourists and vacationers, she says at the microphone of Europe 1.

REPORTAGE

Campsites will not be accessible to the general public until June 2 in green areas, but some privileged people already spend the weekend of Pentecost there. Since May 20 and a decree authorizing them, owners of mobile homes for the year can go there, to restore equality with the owners of second homes. Because throughout the confinement, they were denied access to their summer drop-off point.

"It's calm, there is hardly anyone"

"I was waiting for this like a child in a hurry to arrive at her vacation spot," confides Claudia to the microphone of Europe 1. During two and a half months of confinement, this mother was deprived of access to her mobile- home located in a campsite in the Loire castles, 40 kilometers from her home. Now that she can get there, she plans to enjoy it with her three children.

Obviously, the atmosphere is not at all the same as usual. "It's calm, there is hardly anyone," says Claudia. Because it is in campsites empty of tourists and where activities are stopped that these owners of mobile homes have decided to return. "You can't go to the swimming pool, minigolf, or play tennis".

"We resume maintenance of the installations"

But this situation, after several weeks of confinement, is far from being unpleasant for this mother. "You have all day birds coming to land, deer crossing the fields in front of us, and it is splendid. I have the impression of being out of time".

From June 2, however, the campsites will come back to life. And the activities will be accessible again, promises the spokesperson for Siblu campsites, Mickael Guilfen. "We resume the maintenance of the installations, but also the preparation of the swimming pools and it will be ready very quickly", he explains to the microphone of Europe 1, recalling the central role that swimming pools have in the life of a campsite. .

However, there are still some unresolved questions about the recovery. It is not yet known whether the campsites will be able to install as many deckchairs as usual next to the swimming pools. Masks should not be compulsory, with the exception of certain places depending on the establishment.
