The Parc des Buttes-Chaumont in Paris reopened on Saturday morning, like most of the parks and gardens in France. After months of closure, Parisians seemed very happy to find a "natural place" to rest and enjoy the sun.

The parks and gardens have been open to the public all over France since Saturday morning. Europe 1 went to the Buttes-Chaumont park in eastern Paris, where, barely open, several hundred people rushed in ... some masked, but not all. 

Breakfast "to celebrate"

"It's summer, the weather is very nice, it's the perfect time to picnic a bit", note for their part David and Lisa who spread a white tablecloth over the freshly cut grass, and put down their basket meal.

The only constraint, groups must not exceed 10 people, and keep their distance. Behind his sunglasses, Daisy savored this rediscovered freedom: "We were all at the doors to wait for it to open, finally! We have nowhere to land, to finally enjoy this deconfinement and enjoy life", confides- she.
