Investigators from the 3rd judicial police district arrested on Thursday a man in his thirties suspected of stealing 12,000 euros from his general practitioner, learns 20 minutes from a source familiar with the matter. The suspect, born in 1984, had barged into the doctor's office on Boulevard Raspail in the 7th arrondissement on July 9 at the end of the day. After having tied up the victim, he left with his recipe.

He had since been actively sought. Already known to the police for acts of robbery, extortion with a weapon, and drug cases, the suspect was presented this Friday, late afternoon, to a magistrate of the Paris prosecutor's office.
