According to Kalimatov, two months of self-isolation "yielded results," and thanks to the measures taken in time, they managed to "keep the region from the catastrophic development of events."

“Nevertheless, we did not achieve the results of a phased exit from quarantine. Therefore, by the decision of the operational headquarters of the republic, the regime of self-isolation in Ingushetia was extended until June 7 inclusive, ”RIA Novosti quoted Kalimatov as saying.

As the head of Ingushetia noted, the next week will become a kind of incubation period and will give the headquarters an understanding of further actions.

According to operational data as of May 29, 2000 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Ingushetia.

Earlier, authorities in the Bryansk region extended the restrictions imposed because of the coronavirus, including a self-isolation regime for residents over 65 years of age.
