Four young men, aged 17, 18 and 19, were arrested on Monday by the gendarmes in Bédarieux (Hérault). They are suspected of having committed forty crimes since December in the town and its surroundings, reports this Friday Raphaël Balland, the public prosecutor of Béziers.
Among the acts alleged against the four individuals, several thefts of vehicles with degradations, burglaries, twenty windshields of broken cars and the degradation of a petrol station, for material damage of approximately 11,000 euros and a loss of exploitation estimated at 44,000 euros, continues the magistrate.
Drug
In police custody, the four young men reportedly acknowledged the facts, with different levels of participation. The gendarmes also discovered 80 g of herb and cannabis resin in one of them and 70 g in another.
Two will be tried on June 17 and have been remanded in custody. A third will have to be explained this summer. The only minor was placed under judicial supervision.
