He pointed out that the beaches during the Eid vacation did not record accidents by maritime means, as it witnessed zero numbers of deaths due to drowning, while the maritime security and rescue teams dealt with one drowning case, and the teams were able to save a person and take him to the hospital for medical examinations.

Colonel Al-Madhani emphasized that the Maritime Security teams worked with great readiness in securing maritime navigation and monitoring the violators, while the maritime rescue teams were ready to deal with emergency marine accidents and respond to them in the shortest possible time, and in a 24-hour period in line with the directives of the Commander in Chief of Dubai Police His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al-Marri.

For his part, Lt. Col. Ali Abdullah Al-Qassib Al-Naqbi, head of the maritime rescue department, explained that during the holiday holiday, maritime rescue teams managed 6 bicycle patrols in the areas designated for walking near the beaches, which are used by members of the public to exercise.

He also pointed out that the marine rescue patrols represented by boats, vehicles and water bicycles have conducted a comprehensive survey of marine areas and visited the beaches in the morning and evening periods to check on the safety and security of maritime navigation, and to ensure the commitment of users of marine means to the instructions.

And that the bicycle patrols worked alongside the various teams in enhancing security and safety, in addition to ensuring that community members apply precautionary and preventive measures in combating Corona virus, while showing their presence for the service of the public and community safety.

Lieutenant Colonel Al-Naqbi pointed out that bicycle patrols also worked to spread awareness among members of society of precautionary measures, in addition to taking care to prevent human gatherings.
