National Assembly: The new group Agir ensemble is shedding more light on LREM - 20 Minutes

And ten! A new parliamentary group was formalized on May 26. Made up of deputies Agir, the political party of the Minister of Culture Franck Riester, and LREM, this umpteenth political structure, called Agir ensemble, has further plagued President Macron's group.

After losing the absolute majority when it announced the creation of a ninth group, called Ecology, Democracy, Solidarity, on May 19, LREM is again cut by six deputies.

A historic number

"We want to support the action of the President of the Republic and be a pillar of the majority," said Olivier Becht, president of Agir ensemble.

It was the first time, under the Fifth Republic, that the National Assembly had, in its hemicycle, so many different parliamentary groups.
