Thin and dressed in gray clothes, the suspected man at the age of 20 was led into Uddevalla District Court. During the morning, he listened intently and interested to Prosecutor Jim Westerberg's story about the murder of 17-year-old Wilma Andersson. His girlfriend since two years back.

The first day was dedicated to the prosecutor. He will present what he thinks happened in the apartment on November 14.

Relationship in focus

The story took off in the couple's relationship. Wilma, 17, was much younger when they met and it was he who took over, the prosecutor said. The day before the suspected murder, Wilma must have ended.

"She has been subjected to repeated, blatant violence," prosecutor Jim Westerberg said in court.

He also told me that blood from Wilma has been found in several places in the apartment.

New evidence

But during the period leading up to Tuesday's negotiations, new analyzes have been carried out. According to the investigation, the suspect has put his bare feet in Wilma's blood, which was found in the apartment. In total, three footprints, two left feet and one right foot should have been found.

According to the prosecutor, it ties the ex-boyfriend even more to the murder.

DNA found

The prosecutor also pointed out that they found DNA from the suspected man on the foil the head was wrapped in, when it was found hidden in the apartment.

- There is no other person who has been in the apartment, he is the last person who saw Wilma alive.

The suspected man has always denied that he killed Wilma. According to him, the couple must have quarreled on November 14 and then Wilma should have left the apartment.
