Sharjah Municipality reassures the public, especially visitors to the central market in the emirate, about the minor fire that broke out in one of the stores that specializes in providing food and drinks inside the market.
The municipality asserts that the fire was simple and was controlled within record time in cooperation with the firefighting teams of the General Administration of Civil Defense in Sharjah, and all visitors and shop owners were evacuated in an organized and rapid manner from all market exits in order to preserve their safety.
The municipality explained that the civil defense teams carried out the cooling operations after the completion of the firefighting operations, and the wing in which the fire occurred was temporarily closed, in order to carry out cleaning and ventilation work, in preparation for re-opening it again to the public on Friday.
The Municipality of Sharjah drew attention to the fact that the teams affiliated with it and the civil defense teams dealt with the fire very quickly and with high efficiency, which contributed to controlling it within a few minutes, and it remained limited.
