“No later than May 4, a resident of Kazan, Mohammed El Ayyubi, in order to approve the crimes identified by the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg, posted on the memory bank’s website a photograph of the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party Adolf Hitler for broadcast on the Immortal Regiment website Russia, ”the department said.

According to the investigation, the suspect accompanied the photo with a note that it depicted “Gilter Adik”.

Also, the UK said that another suspect is a resident of Perm, Daniil Shestakov. The investigation established that he posted on the Memory Bank website a photo of General Andrei Vlasov, convicted of treason.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee opened criminal proceedings on the fact of posting photographs of Hitler and Heinrich Himmler during the virtual procession “Immortal Regiment Online”. 

The UK also indicted a resident of Volgograd, who posted a photo of the head of the Gestapo, Heinrich Muller.
