It is noted that the residents of Krasnogorsk asked the ministry to conduct an inspection because of the oily spots that appeared on the Moscow River at the confluence of the Banka River.
“A survey of the water area of the Moscow River in the Krasnogorsk region was carried out, versions of the cause of pollution from illegal draining of wastewater to the dumping of fuel from the ship are being worked out,” the department said.
In March, RIA56, citing a regional prosecutor’s office, reported that a case was opened in Orenburg on the fact of air pollution.
