His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated the people of the Emirates and the Islamic peoples on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, wishing the peoples of the world stability, health and happiness.
His Highness said: "The holiday comes this year is different from the previous years," pointing to the pandemic of "Covid-19", which is sweeping the world, stressing that "affection, love, and remote communication will remain despite this circumstance."
His Highness said in a tweet on Twitter: "This year, Eid differed from all years ... Love, affection and communication remained remote ... every year and our people are fine ... every year and our Islamic peoples are fine, stable, obedient and healthy. Every year, the peoples of the world are closer to each other ... and have mercy on each other ... and are happier with their health and well-being.
