Gunzburg added that production "will not immediately allow a large number of the population of our country to immunize." At the same time, he noted that “unprecedented efforts and actions are being taken so that when the vaccine is registered, as soon as possible go to its scaling”.

He also said that preclinical studies of the vaccine showed a good result. According to him, by June 15, the center plans to obtain permission from the Ministry of Health and begin clinical trials of the vaccine in humans.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health announced that in Russia the drug release time from the coronavirus “Favipiravir”, which is currently undergoing clinical trials, will be reduced.
