The Central China UHV AC Ring Network Project is a key project to improve the power supply capacity and safety level of Central China Power Grid and was included in the national plan in 2018. According to reports, the UHV AC backbone grids in North China and East China are basically completed. After the completion of the project, it is expected that in addition to reducing coal consumption by 30 million tons and pollutant emissions by 240,000 tons for the central region, it will also play an important role in driving the development of upstream and downstream industries and providing jobs.
