China News Service, Beijing, May 23 Question: (Observation at the two sessions) "Extraordinary" notes: From "face-to-face" to "screen-to-screen" I became the nearest reporter to the committee

China News Agency reporter Fan Siyi

"Thanks to the members of the guest interview room and media reporters today, this online interview is over. Thank you all." At 10 pm on May 22, 2020, my colleagues and I sent away at the online video interview room of the Beijing Railway Station resident The committee member turned off the computer and ended the last online interview of the day. This is also the thirteenth video interview with media and committee members that I chaired and participated in in the 2020 National Two Sessions.

In mid-May, I was informed that due to the epidemic situation, the National People's Congress and the National People's Congress will no longer use on-site "face-to-face" interviews this year. Media reporters mainly conduct interviews through online video and written methods. Another colleague and I were able to serve as resident reporters at the committee, and provided online video interview services for China News Service and media colleagues.

"Very" two sessions of "cloud mining"

What does the "internet video interview room" look like, and how do the "cloud interviews" of the two sessions take place? In the beginning, these were unknown to us. From the visit of the station to the measurement of dimensions, from the production of the backplane to the commissioning of the equipment ... At two o'clock on the afternoon of May 15, my colleagues and I settled in the railway building. During the two sessions, there were more than 200 members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference gathered in three sectors: economy, agriculture, and press.

Unlike in previous years, this year's station saw no crowds at all. Anti-epidemic tips are posted on the lobby wall, and each elevator is disinfected on time and limited to 6 people. Our interview room is located on the third floor of the building, and there are also group discussion rooms from various sectors.

Every day, members of different sectors are welcomed in the interview room. In this brand new "punch place", the committee members faced with reporters from all over the world and talked through the Internet "cloud". Whenever some hot interviewees are encountered, there are often dozens of online media. As a staff member of the interview room, I often need to act as a "host". From coordinating the order of questions in the media to controlling the overall interview time, the small interview room has become the scene of the press conference. Of course, the role transition also made me have more learning and thinking: Committee members and reporters, from the "face-to-face" in the past, to the "screen-to-screen" today, information sharing, thinking, and the improvement of efficiency, The distance is closer.

The closest distance, the most real sound

During the two sessions, we also undertook the interview mission of China News Service. As a resident reporter "closest" to the committee members throughout the meeting, we were able to listen to and record the most sincere voices of the committee members from a unique perspective.

During the interview, many committee members recounted their opinions on fulfilling their duties in the past year through the camera.

Haixia, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, talked about the "47 minutes and 95 days" that made her unforgettable in the fight against "epidemic disease" in 2020. She said: "I was very impressed whether it was the scene report on the New Year ’s Eve without the rehearsal and the 47-minute news broadcast on the first day of the Chinese New Year, including the news broadcast that was continuously broadcast for 95 days after that. , Also let the people see the hope of the Chinese nation. "

During the interview, the seriousness and responsibility of many committee members were also touching.

After making a "cloud interview" with Liu Wei, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and President of the People's University of China, we sent him a transcript of nearly 10,000 words of interview text. A few hours later, he sent back a thick stack of manuscript paper to our hands, which carefully annotated the detailed revision ideas-from the adjustment of paragraph sentences to the modification of punctuation marks. "The word is a bit small, I checked it again. I rushed it over today, and you look at it again." I think that this serious and responsible attitude may be the true portrayal of the committee's conscientious performance in the past year.

During the interview, more members deepened their fields and responded to social concerns.

When asked “Why did this government work report not raise the annual economic growth target”, Yang Weimin, member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and deputy director of the Economic Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, responded: According to the current situation, compared with China's GDP growth rate, "Six guarantees" such as job security, people's livelihood, and market players are more important.

In response to "When will the L5 level of autonomous driving come", Li Yanhong, member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of Baidu, replied bluntly: It is estimated that it will take another ten years.

When talking about the expansion of enrollment of graduate students this year, Jin Li, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and vice president of Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, said that this is an important direction of the current education reform, and some colleges and universities should be allowed to adapt to local conditions and schools and implement "one school, one policy "Policy.

"Small episode" reflects "big test questions"

During the epidemic situation, the committee's residence was fully closed, and the residence also became the main place for the committee's work and life. As a resident reporter, many resident "episodes" are also impressive.

The committee member's dialogue during a meal made me remember deeply. During the meeting, the restaurant in the resident arranged a table to dine at a safe distance from the table. When they went out, the two committee members chatted, and one of them said that sitting at the next table reminded him of the examination room in the campus era. Another laughed and said, "Isn't this year's National Two Congresses just a big exam for delegates and members?"

Carefully pondering this is indeed the case, the "global war epidemic," "poverty alleviation," "reinstatement and re-production", "environmental protection" ...... These are the topics that China is facing today's "test questions." How representatives perform their duties, participate in and discuss politics in the two sessions, how to share their insights with others, and answer the "examination papers" of this era require everyone's unremitting efforts.
