According to Buzinov, the incidence of COVID-19 in Severodvinsk to date is "almost 47% higher than the regional average."
“Therefore, we are no longer talking about individual cases of the disease, but about the occurrence of a serious focus of infection,” the press center said.
They said that a significant proportion of the diagnosed Severodvinsk residents are receiving home treatment.
“A serious source of infection is spreading in the region, our task is to quickly take measures to localize it and identify the causes and responsible persons who allowed such a development of events,” the interim governor of the region emphasized.
Previously, a coronavirus outbreak was detected at an ambulance station in the Kamchatka Territory: 38 employees found COVID-19.
