Sultan of Oman Tariq bin Haitham and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and ways to enhance them in a way that realizes the common interests of the two peoples.
Omani TV stated that the two sides reviewed during the Sultan’s reception of the Qatari Minister and his accompanying delegation, in Beit Al Baraka, near Muscat; Matters of mutual concern.
The Omani News Agency said that during the interview, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman conveyed the greetings of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, hours after the Emir of Qatar received a call from the Sultan of Oman.
The agency added that the Qatari official conveyed Sheikh Tamim's long-term wishes of health and happiness to the Omani people with further progress and prosperity.
